 Şimdiki Zaman (Soru)

Right now, I want to explain how to make questions for Şimdiki Zaman. ''Soru'' means question in English. In Turkish, we have some question words which are ''mı, mi, mu, mü''. Here's the format for sentence structure,

verb+ıyor/iyor/uyor/üyor+mu+kişi eki
we have to use only mu for Şimdiki Zaman, because as you see, the last vowel before mu is ''o'' which is in ıyor/iyor/uyor/üyor. 

So, let's make some question together, 

Ben gidiyor muyum?

Sen geliyor musun?

O yapıyor mu?

Biz okuyor muyuz?

Siz yazıyor musunuz?

Onlar dinliyorlar mı? 
We have a little bit different sentence structure for ''Onlar''. And we can also make questions using WH question words like ''Ne, Neden, Nereye''. Be careful, when you are using WH question words, you don't need to use ''mı, mi, mu, mü''. For examples,

Sen nereye gidiyorsun?

Siz nerede oturuyorsunuz?

  Kaynaştırma harfleri (Combining letters) As I mentioned in the other posts, there is no word in Turkish which is two vowels next to each other. So you must use " Kaynaştırma harfleri" which are " y,s,n,ş ". "y" Kaynaştırma harfi  In cases where there is no determinative suffixes, Örnek - Ahmet üniversite y e gidiyor.   Tamlamalar (Noun phrase, Propositional phrase) These are the suffixes that indicate who the nouns are parts of what or whom.  These are  Tamlayan Ekleri (Determining suffixes)   -ın, -in, -un, -ün Tamlanan Ekleri (Determination suffixes) -ı, -i, -u, -ü For example,  Ahmet 'in kalem i - that means Ahmet's pen in English. As you can see in this word "Ahmet" is a determining (Tamlayan), " in " is a determining suffix (Tamlayan ekleri), and "kalem" is a determination (Tamlanan), and " i " is a determination suffix (Tamlanan ekleri).  Diş doktor u - Dentist. In this word, "Diş" which means "tooth" in English, is a determining (Tamlayan), "doktor" which means "doctor" is a determining (Tamlanan) and "u" is a determination suffix.
