 Yönelme hal eki (State of orientation)

-a, -e

When you want to describe the orientation or direction, we have two alphabets to be added for orientation and it is called Yönelme hal eki (Yönelme hali) which means State of orientation in English.

Example : Okul (School) - Okula (to School)

                  Ev (Home)     - Eve (to Home) 

Let me explain which one should be used. As you already know it's also depending on the last vowel.. 

A, I, O, U - a

E, İ, Ö, Ü - e

  Kaynaştırma harfleri (Combining letters) As I mentioned in the other posts, there is no word in Turkish which is two vowels next to each other. So you must use " Kaynaştırma harfleri" which are " y,s,n,ş ". "y" Kaynaştırma harfi  In cases where there is no determinative suffixes, Örnek - Ahmet üniversite y e gidiyor. (Ahmet is going to the university)              Öğretmen kapı y ı açtı. (The teacher opened the door) "ş" Kaynaştırma harfi In apportionment cases if the number ends with a vowel.  Örnek - Adem fındıkları iki ş er iki ş er yedi. Tamlamalar

  Tamlamalar (Noun phrase, Propositional phrase) These are the suffixes that indicate who the nouns are parts of what or whom.  These are  Tamlayan Ekleri (Determining suffixes)   -ın, -in, -un, -ün Tamlanan Ekleri (Determination suffixes) -ı, -i, -u, -ü For example,  Ahmet 'in kalem i - that means Ahmet's pen in English. As you can see in this word "Ahmet" is a determining (Tamlayan), " in " is a determining suffix (Tamlayan ekleri), and "kalem" is a determination (Tamlanan), and " i " is a determination suffix (Tamlanan ekleri).  Diş doktor u - Dentist. In this word, "Diş" which means "tooth" in English, is a determining (Tamlayan), "doktor" which means "doctor" is a determining (Tamlanan) and "u" is a determination suffix.
